Where Art Inspires Jewellery - And Stories Come to Life
At Diamonds & Jewellery Centres of Australia (DJCA), creativity is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Carine studio is more than a jewellery space — it is a living gallery, showcasing the incredible work of local and international artists whose talent inspires and enriches our designs.
Every artwork hanging on our walls contributes to the atmosphere of imagination, storytelling, and emotion that defines DJCA. These pieces reflect the same values we bring to our jewellery: beauty, craftsmanship, meaning, and connection.
Because what we create isn’t just jewellery — it’s wearable art.
A Space for Inspiration
Step into our studio and you’ll discover a curated collection of paintings, mixed media works, photography, sculpture and gemstone-inspired art from emerging and established artists. Each piece is hand-selected to create an inspiring environment — a place where colour, form, and texture spark ideas for your own custom jewellery design.
Whether you’re dreaming of a bespoke engagement ring, an heirloom redesign, or a one-of-a-kind piece, the artworks surrounding you serve as creative fuel. They invite you to imagine, explore possibilities, and design something deeply personal.
Community, Creativity & Connection
We proudly host seasonal exhibitions and twilight art events, opening our doors to celebrate the talent of artists from Western Australia and around the world. These gatherings bring together creatives, clients, families, and the wider community — all connected by a love of art, beauty, and storytelling.
It’s more than a showcase. It’s a celebration of culture, creativity, and local talent.

A True Gem of DJCA
Artist - Haya Hagit Cohen
Haya Cohen is the heart of artistic exploration within Diamonds and Jewellery Centres of Australia - a true gem whose creative vision, intellectual depth, and gentle intuition shape everything she touches.
Haya began her career as a gemologist, developing a deep understanding of the natural world and its most precious materials. Which later lead to incorporating jewellery design with her love for the arts. Her curiosity, however, extended far beyond gemstones. Driven by a desire to understand how materials communicate, transform, and connect us, she pursued academic studies alongside her professional life, completing her PhD in Philosophy,Visual Arts and Cultural Industries at Griffith University.
As an arts practitioner, Haya works across versatile mediums, including living art, drawing from interdisciplinary fields such as philosophy, biology, cognitive science, anthropology, and contemporary art. Her work explores the relationships between body, self, and environment - inviting viewers to consider not just what they see, but what they feel.
Haya has exhibited internationally and across Australia, and her research has been published in respected interdisciplinary journals and books. She has also taught at Griffith University and the Queensland College of Art, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of creative thinkers.
In recent years, Haya has been deeply immersed in printmaking, using etchings, linocuts, and experimental processes to further explore materiality, movement, and memory. Her work is thoughtful, intuitive, and quietly powerful - much like the woman herself.
At DJCA, Haya brings a rare and beautiful perspective: one that blends science with soul, intellect with emotion, and art with story. Our studio is brimming with her creative works on our walls, providing inspiration and creative design to our many jewellery clients.
She is not only an artist and scholar - she is a storyteller, a nurturer of ideas, and a quiet force of inspiration.
